The two day week had my students restless! With the lab closed for the day we decided to show them eleven short docs filmed by Japanese students sent to Francisco Middle School. The docs illustrated a day in the life of a Japanese student attending school in Nara. The students immediately recognized the differences between American school and Japanese school, especially the food! We broke down the films into pros and cons and wrote them down. The teacher from Japan even wrote the students a cute letter encouraging feedback, constructive criticism and possibly even pen pals.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
